发展数学

预代数数学(DVMT 095)和中级代数(DVMT 099)帮助学生发展数学能力，使他们能够完成学习计划所需的数学课程.  个性化的教学, self-pacing, 掌握学习是这些课堂教学的特点. DVMT的所有部分都使用交互式计算机软件进行，并由讲师监督.

预代数数学

本课程的主要重点是提高学生的基本数学技能:整数的算术概念, 整数, 分数, and decimals; problem solving skills dealing with ratios, 利率, 比例, and percentages; concepts of linear, area, volume measurement in both the English and metric systems; and introductory algebra topics of solving linear equations and graphing.  完成本课程将满足数学104，数学109和DVMT 099的先决条件.  本课程以及格/不及格为评分标准.  It is worth three institutional (3) credits; however, 它不能用于满足数学专业或辅修专业的要求, 达到大学数学的基本要求, 也不计入毕业所需的最低120学分.

注意: 根据大学数学分班考试的成绩，学生被安排参加本课程. 除非退学，否则学生不得退出本课程.

DVMT 095教学大纲 -预代数课程

中级代数

代数基本方面的介绍, including properties of the real number system; integer arithmetic; operations with positive and 负 exponents; variables and linear equations; graphing; second degree equations; factoring; operations with positive, 负, and fractional exponents; and quadratic equations.  完成本课程将满足数学118和119的先决条件.  这门课的成绩分为A、B、F.  它值三(3)个学分，每学期开设一次.  然而, 它不符合数学的基本大学要求, 这些学分也不能用于完成毕业所需的最低120学分.

先决条件: 大学数学分班考试成绩合格或顺利完成DVMT 095课程.
